Define Research
(Which is the study we are after)
Research can be defined as the search for knowledge, or as any systematic investigation, with an open mind, to establish novel facts, usually using a scientific method. The primary purpose for basic research (as opposed to applied research) is discovering, interpreting, and the development of methods and systems for the advancement of human knowledge on a wide variety of scientific matters of our world and the universe.
And just for extra credit:
What is Define or Definition?
For other uses, see Definition (disambiguation).
A definition is a passage that explains the meaning of a term (a word, phrase or other set of symbols), or a type of thing. The term to be defined is the definiendum. A term may have many different senses or meanings. For each such specific sense, a definiens is a cluster of words that defines that term.
A chief difficulty in managing definition is the need to use other terms that are already understood or whose definitions are easily obtainable. The use of the term in a simple example may suffice. By contrast, a dictionary definition has additional details, typically including an etymology showing snapshots of the earlier meanings and the parent language.
Like other words, the term definition has subtly different meanings in different contexts. A definition may be descriptive of the general use meaning, or stipulative of the speaker's immediate intentional meaning. For example, in formal languages like mathematics, a 'stipulative' definition guides a specific discussion. A descriptive definition can be shown to be "right" or "wrong" by comparison to general usage, but a stipulative definition can only be disproved by showing a logical contradiction.
What is Knowledge?
Knowledge is a detailed familiarity with, or understanding of, a person, thing or situation. It can include facts and information, as well as understanding that is gained through experience, education or reason. It can be implicit (as with practical skill or expertise) or explicit (as with the theoretical understanding of a subject); and it can be more or less formal or systematic. In philosophy, the study of knowledge is called epistemology, and the philosopher Plato famously defined knowledge as "justified true belief." There is however no single agreed upon definition of knowledge, and there are numerous theories to explain it.
Knowledge acquisition involves complex cognitive processes: perception, learning, communication, association and reasoning; while knowledge is also said to be related to the capacity of acknowledgment in human beings. In the field of organizational knowledge management, the term is used to mean "the confident understanding of a subject with the ability to use it for a specific purpose if appropriate."
What is Discovery?
Discovery (observation), observing or finding something unknown
Discovery (fiction), a character's learning something unknown
Discovery (law), a process in courts of law

Study More
Study More Some things come easy, other things take more study. And if you want to learn what God is asking of us, we need to study more.
Welcome to the Study Section of The Whole Message. this is where the rubber meets the road. The Studying we do can bring us closer to the truth than any other elements. It is a vast web of connections that amazes me more than any other thing. The main reason for any scripture studies is for a Depth of Knowledge.
Many times as people study the Bible, and we are looking for a particular answer we end up with the same conclusions even though we came to them from different paths. Other times we may be studying the same particular lessons of study and actually come of with different outcomes from them. As different as these conclusions can be or as widespread as our studies are, we are generally always right when our studies are backed up with the Bible.
I could say "lets study out God's love" and one person might start thru Christ's love and follow thru Christ taking our nature in Hebrew 2:16-18 and ending up with John 15:13 In Christ dying for us. Then another person might go thru 1Corinthians 14:1 "The Love Chapter". And the thing I really love about this is that they may end up with the same conclusions, that Jesus loves us. Or I could ask about a particular chapter and we will have 10 different people coming up with 10 different learnings.
So as far as it goes, we would think to say that no matter which way we study, we usually end up with the same rewarding results, and that is a higher depth of knowledge. It is only when cut our studies short that we can not only misinterpret the study, we can also come away with a false message that is actually in contradiction with what we were studying in the first place. So many people cut short their study, they take a fragment of the Bibles teachings and use it in way that the Bible was not intending it for. they are taking the verses out of context.
Quite frankly, you could take the Bible and use it to justify any of your sinning ways, You could take fragments of the Bible and claim some sort of ownership to a wrong, because that particular verse was referring to an entirely different thing.
Here are a couple general rules to help when we are studying the Bible.
Never look for that one liner that will justify your own beliefs.
Always get a 3rd and 4th example of the claim in order to create the validation. biblically there is not one single lesson in the Bible that is only there once. You will always find 3 or more examples of everything that is truth as God would want you to believe. If you only find it once, in a quick line, it's not the content you may be considering.
Read the entire chapter, not just the verse. this will help you to see weather or not the claim is relevant to the studies at hand.
Present the studies before The Lord, asking Him in Prayer for His discernment and wisdom.
Studying God's word can be quite the process. We can read and we need to read, but when we start studying and really study to depth, we will see the real strength in His Word.
When we study, here are are couple key words in an order that will help you develop your skills in your studying process.
Learning
Begins with Researching,
And We Start By Searching,
Gathering Information,
Then We Are Presenting
the Information
For An Evaluation
And Discussion
To Study the Results
For The Conclusion
And Presto, We Have A New Discovery.
You will notice that i put the Discovery last. We just don't ever want to jump into a discovery ahead of time, we need all the facts and need to evaluate them to the extent that they are validated by the Bible. Then Our Study is Complete. I have seen far too many times that people will jump to a discovery without finishing their research, ant they are running around the world telling everyone about their new discovery, only to be found out wrong at a later date by an in-depth study that was complete. We see it all the time in health and science and especially when it comes to the foods we eat. One minute it's good for you and the next minute it's bad for you. And the sad part about it is that usually the damage from these poor incomplete studies is already done, and can generally linger on for years even generations.
This is one of Satan's greatest tools, confusion from poor incomplete research. We as put this whole world into a world of billions of people not knowing what to believe on any subject. And that confusion actually keeps most people away from ever looking deeper. It is for a lack of knowledge that My people perish.
And that is way i can't stress it enough, that we need to be readers of His Word, and Studing His Word. This way we can be certain of our convictions, knowing the Truth because is is backed up with the Bible. It is only by the Bible that we should ever be claiming the Truth of God from. That is where we need our proof to come from.
Here are some Bible Scriptures on the need for study
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (This is First and Most Important)
16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Acts 17:10-11 (Searching - The keys to our studies)
Ministering at Berea
10 Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.
Proverbs 8:10 (Our studies are more valuable than silver and gold)
10 Receive my instruction, and not silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold;
Proverbs 24:5 (We will be strengthened in many ways)
5 A wise man is strong, Yes, a man of knowledge increases strength;
And One of the more popular versus in the Bible when it comes to studying and the lack of is Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
The 3rd part of this lesson is to Pray More
Pray More
Pray More Prayer Is the direct connection we have with God. We need to learn to be more in prayerful communication.
