Getting On The Path

Getting to know Christ is a full time walk with Him. It is a lifetime journey that begins with one step. It is nice to have the additional insights before getting on a path, however when it comes to Christ, we just need to get on the path and continue to stay on the path. Don't stop on the path, continue moving and growing. Too many times I find people that are just looking at the path, they know the path, but they never get on the path. The best way for God to work in our lives is for Him to move us and that works best when we are already in motion. It is when we are actually on the journey walking with Him that He will move us to the left or to the right. All the miracles and blessings God has in store for us are conditional and the very first condition of them is that we actually have to be on the path.

 

The Time is drawing near. There are only so many days left in the calendar for us to prepare. Christ will return to take His children home, this is detailed in the Bible. are you going to be prepared, or are you going to be caught short with your would have, could have, should have. Tomorrow may be one day too late!

It may sound like your giving up when you call it surrender, and that's probably why a lot of people never realize the power that comes from Christ. People think of surrender as a weakness, True Christians know that surrender to our Almighty Father is actually a strength. It is only when we get our selfish earthly mentality out of the way that Christ can do His best work thru us. Now my form of surrendering makes me stronger, more confident, more driven and far more successful in every single little thing I do.

Most of the time it just seems like we are getting ourselves in the way of our own success. I feel like God is doing more fixing of my mistakes and if I would have just been listening to Him better in the first place, He wouldn't have all these mistakes to be fixing. His will is what I now desire. I surrender myself to Him in everything I do.
